A Lamar County Grand Jury has indicted 26 people on charges ranging from arson causing bodily injury to unauthorized absence from a community correctional facility.
Four people were indicted for assault with a deadly weapon, while one faces indictment for an assault on a public servant.
Those indicted include:
• Amy Marie Bishop, possession of a controlled substance, PG 1, less than one gram in a drug free zone;
• Ronald Keith Blasingame, driving while intoxicated, third or more;
• Marcus Lucas Childress, burglary of a building, four counts;
• Gary Lee Clark, unauthorized absence from community correctional facility, habitual offender;
• Damion Lamon Davis, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, two counts;
• Jorge Adan Garcia, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon;
• Carol Lynn Gray, theft, more than $1,500 but less than $20,000;
• Bobby Allen Jones, possession of a controlled substance, PG 1, less than one gram;
• Cecelia Ann Key, possession of a controlled substance, PG 1, less than one gram;
• James Mitchell Laster III, fraudulent possession of a controlled substance, prescription SCH III/IV;
• Naethan Bryant Lemay, burglary of a building, four counts;
• Robert Shawn Lindsey, aggravated assault on a public servant;
• Casey Ray Mathis, credit card abuse, repeat offender;
• Doris Jean Matlock, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon;
• Shane McCann, engaging in organized criminal activity and theft of more than $1,500 but less than $20,000, two counts;
• John McCloud, burglary of a building, repeat offender;
• Buford Glen McMikel, driving while intoxicated, third or more;
• Julia Nicholson, theft of more than $1,500 but less than $20,000;
• Shannon Kent Offutt, burglary of a building;
• Kayanna Presley, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle;
• Roger Lee Robinson, arson causing bodily injury and three counts of arson;
• Antonio Juarez Saldana, driving while intoxicated, third or more;
• Chad Salyer, engaging in criminal activity and theft of more than $1,500 but less than $20,000;
• Johnny Lee Sampson, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, repeat offender;
• Johnny Dale Smith Jr., engaging in organized criminal activity and theft of more than $1,500 but less than $20,000, repeat offender; and
• Mickey Joe Smith, theft of more than $1,500 but less than $20,000.
